DQ opens for tours to crowd of almost 1,000!

This past weekend, the Delta Queen opened to the Chattanooga area public for the first time since her arrival back in mid-February. In a series of vessel tours offered Thursday through Sunday, just under 1,000 people turned out to tour the boat!
Some of you may remember former Delta Queen Shore Tour Manager Jennifer Lemmon. The folks at Delta Queen Hotel have contracted her to give these tours of the vessel and, wow, did she get run ragged! I talked to her on the phone and she was exhausted! But everyone is so pleased about the wonderful response. Additional tours have been added this Saturday and Sunday.
