This is Laura Sable writing this post (unbeknownst to Bill!) and I wanted to say a big thank you to Bill. He has worked tirelessly on the Delta Queen this year. He has brought so much joy to the guests and crew with his talks, music, card tricks, enthusiasm and overall passion for this boat. So, thank you, my love. You are my hero!

Thank you Bill for all the memories and for saving them on your blog.

And we add our thanks too, to both of you. Because we made the conscious decision to miss this last cruise (a wise one as I was a sodden mess for three days) we still felt part of it. Your comments and pictures helped us get through the cruise right along with our friends – both passengers and crew members.
Thanks again and the best to both of you. May we meet again!!

Thanks Bill, wonderful memories and pictures. The last picture of you and Laura is incredible, Sundeck, our home away from home. The Krause’s were with you in spirit complete with long distance tears.
But, you’re gonna continue this blog next year, right? 😉 All digits are crossed…

Thanks to both of you for making these last days on the Delta Queen so much more enjoyable and memorable — poignant as it is traveling on this threatened landmark. May steam boating endure, the spirit of the river abide and the Queen rise yet again!
